I think your spot on there fella, if you get as much of these elements into the plants in veg, then flower is pretty much plain sailing, and you find also the chances of getting defiencies is a lot less, and prevention is better than cure :)

Thanks for the heads up Sam. It's very important to get all these trace elements in the plants. I really think most of the work is done during vegetable stage and then in flower we are just cruising with the right amount of PK :)

Hi Folks,

Just a very quick update as I done a reservoir change last night, so this feed is as below:

50ml of Ionic Hard Water Grow
25ml of Liquid Silicon
2 tsp RAW Amino acids
25ml PM Root Stim

Base EC = 0.6
Ec = 1.1
Ph = 6.0 (as dropping a few points over the week)

So on Monday I topped these again, thats roughly 2 weeks since the first topping, I usually find the first time you top you top only 1 top, and 2nd time you top 8, I usually only top twice. I also rotated the pots in the tent to make sure they all get an even amount of light. Next week I will start training these and then get them tied down :)

I noticed some yelllowing on the plants on Monday, especially on the tips of the new growth, I think this maybe because i dropped the amino acids back last feed, I also dropped the Root stim which contains amino acids on that feed. I will keep to 2 tsps of amino acids for the rest of the veg, I have also upped the feed a bit, so hopefully the plants will green back up quickly, if not then i will add 1/2 tsp of nitrogen into the reservoir over the weekend to get them back on course :)

I will do my usual photo update tomorrow folks, hope you all have a good one :)

Hey GMO,

Yeah the RAW nutes are good, they arent cheap, but in all fairness you really dont need to use too much.

In coco most people find its better to underfeed than over feed, this can be a good and bad thing sometimes, as the good side is you notice defiencies a lot quicker than when you over feed, and I find with the RAW additives, you can just add a 1/4 of tsp of nitrogen, or pottasium if needed, to cure the defiency. With over feeding you often find people dont notice the defiencies as much as the plants are too dark a green, or too loaded with nutes, and the problems dont really show themselves till flower.

Thanks for popping along fella :)
