Will be watering these again tonight....should I aim for an EC of 1.0 and bring it down slowly or go lower straight away to about .8/.9?? With a Ph of about 5.8/6.0 maybe??

Viz wrote:Yeah perfect thank you. I grow in coco too, and like you I like to pot up my photo girls. One of the things I have noticed is how much of a pain in the butt the smaller pots are for drainage. Especially while the girls are little over watering is a big issue, heck just ask Nan about the multitude of seedlings that have perished up North...

So to prevent the soggy bottom and bone dry on top effect, not very good for your seedlings. Put two thin dowels down, and lay each of the pots on those thin dowels. For the slightly bigger or next size up pots the 1litre ones I use three of these.

Ahh right I'll have to keep an eye on that then mate cheers,

Is that to just lift then off the surface a bit?
