Well out of pure laziness I have not been PH-ing and it makes no difference as my RO water seems to be around 6.0 anyway and the water being in the RES i.e. air bubbles etc lowers it down to 5.8 PH by the time I top up again taking it back to 6 which is the kinda range I went for anyway.

Plants are still looking on track with no problems that I have seen. TBH, I have seen nothing this complete grow which is strange, no insects, no signs of over/under feeding etc.

I'll take it...

Topped up the Res again with about 20 litres and still the PH resets to 6.0 pH with no nutrients added:-

So unless I am supposed to manually move to PH outta range?

Being the lazy bastard growing in the AutoPots - My choice is to do nothing, which means they will flush on PH-ed water 'By definition' ?

When people say 'un-ph-ed' are you measuring what you end up with?

Hit my first issue with the AutoPots tonight! Checking them, and both trays were dry and tubes going to them completely blocked with salts. Fucking pain in the arse and surprised me as it's flush time so not like there is much salts in the pipes etc.
But hey ho, cleaned out as much as I could to get them going again (I have spare tubing somewhere but no idea where) and now considering either upgrading to the new Aqua Valve 5 with the 9mm pipes which I would feed from the Res using 16mm main feed with short 9mm spurs going to the newer improved valves.

Or just trying something different? I like the Auto Pots at the min and 'this' is a minor problem to be fair but....

Any recommendations on feeding setups?

It`s up to you Minty you have it rocking now, it`s your shout. How hard and expensive is it to just just replace the current tubing after each grow. It`s your shout mate. They do look grand though you`ve done a real nice jobby with these. So what do you mean try summink else a different way of growing ? Go for it but I know what i`d do so im saying nowt else  Oh go on then  so iff your trying different styles of growing to get more yield, first thing i`d try growing in auto-pots is banging a 600hps in that tent for winter months just for starters. :thanks:

It was more the point of it failing 'mid grow' that worries me mate. One option would be to still upgrade the main tube to be 16mm but keep the existing Aqua Valves and just limit the amount of 6mm tube. E.g. Run the 16mm right up to the pots then spur off with short lengths of 6mm for the final connection. That would work but on same score I don't mind paying for the new valves if I stay with the AutoPots which I will be doing for the Animal Cookies at least. Cost wise the upgrade is less than a week of street weed anyway and the fact that all the new AutoPots come with the upgraded pipe diameter suggests there is a known issue with the 6mm.

P.S. Certainly not worried about more yield - gonna have more weed than I have jars for soon ;o)
