Wow guys and gals. Another week or so has passed , the temperatures in the garage are ridiculous but the girls seem to be thriving ! Drinking loads but looking good , starting to fill out now , 2 seem more mature than the other covered in frosting and hairs oranging nicely , the other is massive but obviously well behind the others , noticed last night they look a bit hungry so upping the feed when I fill the tanks up tonight to 3ml per l of a and b Staying at 1ml cal mag ,

Here’s a few snaps

Today has being so crazy here in Yorkshire , and now local wild fires !!! And taken a row of houses out ffs

Hopefully at the coast it will be cooler . Got a date with some fish and chips and some sea fishing

Paul over and out

Yo yo , back from the coast and was welcomed back by the 2 back plants looking very yellow. The 2 plants are on the same res tank so obviously I have fucked the feed mix up before going away ? Maybe the ph is too high or low , and nutes have not been taken up ? Or have I over dosed them ? I have being giving 2ml a and b and 1 ml cal/mag ,
I have a feeling it could be zinc deficiency looking at how yellow the full leaves have gone , which I haven’t checked ph in the tank but it does drift up over time doesn’t it ? And I have left them a week on a full 47l tank which I never do
I hope I’m wrong because reading g up zinc defciancy can be terminal and really hard to recover

Here’s some photos

Apart from the yellowing the plants were looking good. Proper gutted , going to empty the res in a bit and check ph in it , I recon it’s gonna be well high.

What y’all think ?

So last night I was laid in bed fretting over my yellow ladies and at 1am I couldn’t take it any longer , I dragged myself to the tent and tipped out the water out the tanks and tested it , ec was fine , but ph was all the way up at 8.4 ffs !!!! I know it can drift up but wow.
I tested the tap water which was at 6.7 ! So obviously route cause is high ph , I tipped out the other tank with similar results ,

So I mixed up 20l of feed and ph downed it to 5.8 and put 10l in each tank,
I hope the damage is t to far gone and the girls carry on their life and mature , after almost 3 months it’s gutting when shit goes wrong , I never leave them for 10 days and I guess this is what happens when ya don’t keep ya finger in the pulse, :-(

Proper gutted mate , you know I usually have nice green ladies , can’t believe the tap water is way up at 6.7!!! Wtf is that about ,
I guess that’s where I have lost it cause I haven’t been using ph down as it’s usually ok so not even been checking ph as like you, you know from routine the right amounts ,

Recon they will recover mate ?

I find if ya use the sulfuric acid i think it is basically gro-tec stuff mine holds once set man, then again i never check it once set cus plants are always green, so lets say i presume it holds. But yes point being theirs different types i think Dutch Pro use phosphoric acid, but not sure but i know they use summink different, the sulfuric stuff is most aggressive again i think its sulfuric.
