I never noticed how high your background EC is before! Its mad how low your feeds are with a difference of just 0.5!
Yes mate my tap water EC varies from 0.5 to 0.7(0.8) sometimes. I usually don't bother checking the ec at all but because it's a combo meter i Get to see when setting up the pH and I can tell on my diary. To be honest I tend to go by the colour of the plants lately - veg is usually 1 ml per L of Canna A&B. If they start go get pale I go 1.25 ml per l for few days. In flower I lower the base nutrients to about 0.75 ml per L. Using the same nutrients over the years and understaning how they work makes the EC meter not really needed.

That's bang on the money imho mate. I personally only check EC when changing nutrient ratios to confirm the figures I'm hoping for then stick to the ML measure rather than EC

I also completely agree on your veg and flower measures for base nutrients, it's a simple but perfect way to gauge if you have a hungrier strain through veg if you feed most things at a standard of 1ml A+B. By flower you usually have a good idea of how they strain will feed through flower

Was just reading the post's guys and recalling that most nutrient lines i have used for coco are around the 1ml per liter maybe the exception being Ionic for coco.
On another note bulls the plants are coming a long nicely as per. I really do like your set up to as a whole. I was wondering why you was interested in the size of a wilma?
