Some more great strains to watch grow out from Cave Hill Cove. Nice man! I’ll definitely have a real close eye on that Killer Queen.
Cheers TTL! Yeah man the Killer Queen is going to be an interesting grow. The G13 crossed Cindy sounded like an attractive pairing...kind like an old NL5 X Haze deal.

One of these days I will front up the Benjamin's and grab me a pack of straight Cindy 99...one day :Stoned:
These are some of my favorite smokes you’re bringing up! Cindy 99 and NL5 x Haze are top three for me. I was thinking of running Cindy 99 this upcoming run, but Keeno’s sending me some seeds I’m going to use. So, next run will most likely be some Cindy 99. Best of luck on this grow even though you don’t seem to need it! Ha.
Cheers bro! Dude I'll take all the luck I can get haha...the last grow went well...but I've had some shockers bro hahaha I had light leaks for 9months...it hurts seeing your harvest seeded one after they other...forces you to stop and learn, which is sobering. Growing throws you some crooked challenges at the most unlikely times.

Cindy and NL5 X Have are one my list for sure. The NL5 X Haze has given rise too many a famous strain. I heard Notsodog talking about it in an interview, he reckons its a hard one, it has a lot of variation, I think he grew it out 20 times and never found a keeper. But I got to give it a try one day. :Stoned:

Cheers bro! I have been tweaking the the grow along the way. This will be the 5th run with this light and autopots ...so starting to get use to it, I know it kinda goes against the basic principle of flood to drain coco. But if you keep you nutrient solution in a sensible range (on average about 20% less then the feed chart) and use "drip clean" or something else to stop the salt build up...they work phenomenally well.

I do a syn-ganic method. Basically I amend the coco with microbes to combine the professed benefits of soil growing with amazing growing benefits of coco. Yield and speed of coco, with the terps/flavor of soil. Once I had a very stoned idea...that the Afganica strains from the Hindu kush evolved with that set of soil microbes. Which must would have included sheep and goat maure....so I add sheep pellets to my coco. My bro science tells me that it really heightens the terp profile of the Afgani dominant strains I love so much. :Stoned:

That’s exactly what I heard about NL5 x Haze too. I have a pack, but I’m not sure when I’ll do a proper hunt. Probably need more packs too. Ha.

I am subscribed for this diary. You can tell it's gonna be an interesting one. Grow style different than mine so I hope to be able to learn something new. I sat down in the corner quietly and ask if I have any questions :Stoned:

Cheers Bulls! Mate I have seen the pics of your grows....I was hoping to learn from you bro

Variation in styles makes grows for sure. If you come up with any questions, shoot man... :ak:

Re: TH Seeds in Da Tent

Greetings everyone,

So week 1 is just coming to an end, so far ladies are looking relatively happy. The killer Queen is still looking a little yellow, she's slowly turning a little more green. She is definitely a heavy feeder, the reservoir has been set to 1.8EC (H&G A+B and 5th strength Ozi Magic Monsta Bud) and she's still looking a little light green. But i can see the undergrowth and center of the plant darkening up. Another week of this higher EC and she should be looking a bit happier.

Image

The other plants in the room are fine with the slightly higher EC. My little roof 95 afi is looking really happy. She's at week further along than the rest of the room. She has such small structure, but her buds sites are looking very promising. Her structure is so different from the KIller Queen and they are the same age. The hempy bucket is a cool way of growing .

Image

The Sage N Sour has grown into her cage. This plant has been mainlined and I have trained her four main colas to side each. She has such large fan leaves..they are bigger than my hand.

Image

Here is the Killer Queen, she's a little yellow but happy. I am going to feed another microbe tea tomorrow, to help her bounce back.

Image

Here's the Sage, she too has been mainlined. I have lowered the cage and trained to keep the canopy even. Tomorrow, Sage and the Sage n Sour will get raised up closer to the light. So that the canopy of the whole room is as even as possible.

Image

I'll be in a week with another report :Stoned:

Hi everyone,

Sorry its been a couple weeks since the last update. I have been a little busy and a little lazy, but i'm back with some weekly updates. So week 4 is just coming to a end. The EC is 1.6, I have been feeding H&G (A+B), OziMagic Monsta Bud (5th strength) and drip clean. This grow has had a few more issues than the last one, which i will highlight in this update. But all four plants are alive and well for the most part. There's one thing about this plant...she will humble you, if your not paying attention or if your too much of a cowboy in your growing style.

Image

The little 95 Afi seems to to be doing a bit better now. Full disclosure...as this is a "warts and all" dairy I burned the shit out of her in the 2nd week. Her leaves have/had the copper tips and spots. I think the reason she got burnt...was because she is in a hempy bucket....and I wasn't watering to a full 3rd runoff. I was only collecting a dribble of run-off....and I think the salts built up and burned her. I flushed with straight water and have been feeding a reduced feed approx 1.2-1.3 EC. Thankfully....I never burnt her pistils. All and all she has perked up a lot...but man...I hate it when I hurt/over love my plants. It makes checking on your plants unenjoyable...instead of the usual happiness. But hey, this seems to be how I learn.

Image

This Sage is a bit of runt. Its a shame the last seed I popped (and foolishly didn't keep a clone) was a monster of a plant, super vigorous and love to grow and take over the room. This latest sage is really small and slow. Its kinda getting taken over by the other plants in the room. But hey...that's genetics for you...never know what your going to get. Also I had some issues with my autopot system...basically the pot wasn't filling enough to the brim in the base, the water level would only get to a 3rd of the way. So the plant was suffering a bit, I managed to get to her before she suffered too much. I have replaced the aqua valve and she's filling better. It's possible the lack of water/feed may have added to her stunted structure. She's short buds are nice and thick looking at least.

Image

The Killer Queen as been an interesting plant. All and all she's pretty happy and growing well. But she was looking a little under fed going into flower. She's stayed lime green for the the most part...I'd prefer if she was a little darker..but maybe that's just her leaf colour. I have had lime green plants before...but I'm pretty sure she was dark green in veg. Anyway...shes putting on trichs and has a lovely cherry hash smell. To me..her structure looks a lot like her Cindy99 parent genetic.

Image

The Sage N Sour is probably been the best looking plant in the room. She has been sailing smoothly throughout the whole grow. She has a beautiful structure and is highly vigorous...luckily I kept a clone of her. She has such an unusual smell...citrus funk and skunk...with something else.

Greetings all,

As promised I'm back with another weekly report. This week things are looking a bit better in the tent. All the plants have perked up a bit. They have definitely responded well to the microbe teas and reduced feed. Currently we coming to the end of week 5. The EC has been 1.4, been feeding H&G (A+B) and Ozi Magic Monsta Bud (@5th strength) and a weekly microbe tea. I also switched the plants around, so the little Sage plant is up the from.

Image

Below is the little Roof 95 Afi..for a stocky little plant, her bud sites are stacking on the weight. She's like a little bonzai city of buds. She has this sweet orange and cotton candy smell right now. For such a small plant she has surprisingly dense flower. You can still see where I burnt her, but she's bouncing back well...now that i am watering to a 3rd runoff.

Image

Here is the Sage, she too is very small/stout in stature. She has stayed very compact, but her bud sites are huge. Shas this super sharp sandal wood smell...dipped in funk.

Image

The Killer Queen is starting to fill out and put on weight. She is definitely the biggest plant in the room..but she is the oldest too. Shas a super strong tropical kushey hash smell.

Image

The Sage N Sour has such beautiful structure, her Jurassic park sized fan leaves and spear of destiny like colas, make her a really fun plant to grow. She's got such a unique smell...I just can't put my finger on it..like sweet off milk maybe...I can see where the sour cream terp might come from @Chad.Westport
