For seedlings I would Start ar 40'' and run it half power if there is a switch mate.

Nice1 mate.... it’s got 2 switches. 1 for grow and 1 for bloom so I will just use the grow to start.

I can not remember if i put the instructions in the box Glynne but in case i did not, you can only use the blue spectrum on its own.
Running the red spectrum on it's own damages the unit apparently.

I also have a Viparspectra 900 mate and for seedlings i had my led around 35 inch away and that worked its way down to around 20 inches seemed to be a sweet spot as they grew up. Looking forward to see how you get on mate
