Nutrient burn?
Evening all,
Hope you're all smoking fine
I have a 3 week old strawberry cream starting to show signs of yellowing and was wondering if anyone has any ideas as to what it could be?
Setup (pics to follow):
15L Pots
Growell's Tropic Mix
Fed with Indica nutrients range - they're a brand new brand i'm trialling
Soil pH - ~6.1
Soil EC - ~473
Base water - RO water EC 22
Invisible sun ish265v2 type R at about 24" from tops
Lights on - 5am
Lights off - 11pm
Environment temp 24h min checked at 4:30pm - 21 Celsius
Environment temp 24h max checked at 4:30pm - 25 Celsius
Plants have been topped once

Nutrient burn?
looks like a ph issue .
Oh dear lord the tropic mix , all peeps i know who used that ran into severe problems , the coco they use in that causes mega ph issues . Calcium ,Mg probs , ph probs you name it .
If you ask me that medium was intended more for tropical house plants . like Aloes and cactii
21 degrees is low. keep a nice warm 26-28deg 60% rh in veg ,
take a pic of entire plant so i can better assess situation , sonetimes its lower leaves that get less light and start dying off .
I once made a mix similar to this and had to treat it like a coco grow after 3-4 weeks .
That means , ph water and coco nutrients , run off as the coco gets locked with ions and needs to be reset

I've got some ecothrive 70/30 ready for my next run, want to give coco a try (I have ALOT of coco nutes so may aswell get the use out of them lol)Trex wrote: ↑Fri Dec 04, 2020 8:45 amlooks like a ph issue .

Re: Nutrient burn?
First time Soil grower here
Having decent luck with Biobizz All Mix plus Grow and Bloom nutes. Nothing else. Slightly burnt yellow tips, but otherwise good. Following Biobizz feed schedule and have been giving nutes every water and they loved it. But I'm going to ease off on tbe next run.
One of my plants had leaf septoria, think there are still an odd few leaves that do. But think that's down to my environment being too dry
16l fabric pots
Feed 5l each. 2nd week flower
Have used light mix for seedlings and initial potting in small pots.
