Anyone know what this could be ?
Hi everyone. My brother asked me to com look at his plants today as he noticed this. I think it could be thrips or a burn as he was using a foliar spray with 600w lights switched on. I had a look everywhere but couldn’t spot any pests. Any idea what it could be and how to treat it ? Ps he is 4 days into flower

Re: Anyone know what this could be ?
The top pic looks like it could be the mineral residue from the foliar spray, perhaps if the water component is evaporating before being absorbed into the leaf? Just a guess though

Re: Anyone know what this could be ?
He has 12 plants and it’s on every plant. On day 1 of flower he gave them a foliar feed of switch by optic foliar and since then he noticed the problems. On some leaves it looks like burns and on others it’s just the spot. I went round today with a microscope and couldn’t spot any pests. Madness

Sounds like you've identified the problem.
Maybe do a test foliar feed on a couple of leaves and see if the problem intensifies at those locations

Re: Anyone know what this could be ?
Foliar feeding should be done without the lights on some foliar like mentioned above have a film and can cause slight burns water the foliar feeding down next time no light
I foliar feed with coconut water, kelp and it needs a fresh wash after a couple hrs.
Cheers

Re: Anyone know what this could be ?
It looks like it could possibly be a bug problem and spidermites. If you`ve got that spotting around the whole grow i`d be checking undersides of leaves with a scope for mites and eggs. Hopefully it`s not that but last 3 pictures sure look buggy

Re: Anyone know what this could be ?
I have looked on every plant and can’t find any bugs at all. It looks like burns on some leaves and on others it just spots. Since he has had the grow set up I have not even seen a fly in the room so it would be hard for me to say it’s pests.

Yes some of those leaves do look dodgy @Gward20 So if it is overfeeding it`s hardly a problem yet but im not sure if it is tbh, what medium is he using to grow in and ferts used ?
