Help me i have bugs 🤣

as i was told yesterday to check the leaves for thrips can confirm i do infact have bugs of some sort im unsure what but possibly thrips
Also im about 3 weeks from harvest how could i get rid of them please help someone tia

Hey @Joshuaarr420,

Yup, looks like you have thrips dude. I keep meaning to do post on these little things but not got around to it yet.

So, because you're late in flower, options are limited. I spray in flower but I'd never advise someone else do it as it's a little risky indoors.

Firstly, grab some yellow sticky fly traps. This will pick up any adults flying around. Next, here are some options.

1) predators

There are several predators that you can deploy into your growroom and they will eat them.

• Ladybugs will eat thrips but they're sensitive to environment.

• Amblyseius swirskii can be purchased online and work great as they're not so sensitive to environment.

• Neoseiulus cucumeris can also be purchased online and will munch thrips.

2) pestercide

Before treating with pestercide, remove any badly damaged and infested leaves and throw them away far from your growroom. You're only real option here is pyrethrin smoke bombs. These give off a dry smoke laced with pyrethrins that will kill on contact. Unfortunately some thrips have built up a resistance to pyrethrins but it's worth trying as they're cheap and accessible at most pet stores as flea smoke bombs.

Don't use pyrethrins if you go down the predator route.

Also, you'd be supprised how effective a once over and just wiping them off the leaves is.

@seymore_budz thankyou man i will go sit with them later for a few hours trying to get them of bad damaged leaves and ill will get some ladybugs friday when i get paid until then i guess its just getting them off leaves thanks again man

From my experience lady bugs are epic wee soldiers!

I had gnats and they literally disappeared overnight with the help from my spotted friends!

Yeah i mean only cost 15 quid but still thats another 15quid to fork out but yeah ima get some predatory bugs on friday i think i also changed there nutes took the a+b away and just used the terra flores hopefully sort it out thanks man

awesome bugs was gonna be my first option lol i may try find a lady bug outside and of i do throw it in there but yeah im gonna invest in some bugs friday on payday
