Which lights to start indoor (and then move out)?
Goon evening guys, i finally decided to start the seedlings indoor and let them grow some decent roots before moving them outside, and now i'm wondering if someone could recommend me some decent lights under 50 euros (or slightly above) and maybe tell me the distance at which the lamp should stay from the seedlings and if possible which light cycle could work better to maximize the start and be able to move them outdoor without the risk of the seedling collapsing from the heat. I also have a pretty standard household fan but i don't know really well what to do for the ventilation, i was thinking of just putting the pots with the freshly sprouted seedlings on a table, switch the lamp (whichever the best i can afford) on and pointing at them the fan at the lowest speed. I have a small enclosed room with air conditioning available which also have a small window in needed. Please let me know your recommandations and have a fantastic day :)

Yup it's an auto, do you think that this https://www.amazon.it/dp/B075S5P3Z8/ref ... s9dHJ1ZQ== could be ok? And if so in the future after i used it for the seedlings i could put in into a greenhouse to add some light hours when cloudy? Thanks ^^

I don't like the look of those cheap led lights. They have good reviews but you can pay for reviews and the odd one in there sound shady. They may grow a plant but they are really bad quality. If you on a budget, grab a t5 or CFL. They're plenty good enough for plants up to 12".frankthirtyspears wrote: ↑Mon May 11, 2020 6:49 pmYup it's an auto, do you think that this https://www.amazon.it/dp/B075S5P3Z8/ref ... s9dHJ1ZQ== could be ok? I just grabbed two of these for my veg room.

They have drop in replacement led strips that will be available soon. They have a much better spectrum and you're less likely to run into issues with things breaking etc

Re: Which lights to start indoor (and then move out)?
Ok guess i'm sticking with cfl since i really don't have enough money for decent led, is something like this https://www.amazon.it/ONIVIB-Lampadina- ... 100&sr=8-6 fine? If i'm going to just use it for the seedling and i'm going to grow 2/3 at a time do i need more than one?grumpygrower wrote: ↑Mon May 11, 2020 10:07 pmI mean it's totally up to you dude I just don't like those cheap LEDs, they are bad quality. Hahaha I feel like I'm being mean but that one is the worst of all you've linked. I mean if you really wanted to go LED, the first one you asked about is probably the one I would pick. If it's just a veg light, just use CFL. I've been running one for a year so and it works great as a starting lamp.
