Disastrous fridge malfunction?

I recieved some new seeds from the forum today (cheers) and when I went to put them in the mini fridge I noticed it was warm in there! The seed packets felt warm I got rid of the fridge and put all the beans in my other fridge that wasn't in use but I'm worried that I've damaged the seeds in some way or fucked the germination rate I did put some new seeds in it last week and it was fine then so I know it hasn't been warm for more than a few days but I'm still panicking a bit, literally all my seeds were in that fridge including some quite expensive ones (probably total value £300+ worth of beans) I'm gonna test a couple of spare beans that I don't care about probably some bagseeds to see if they are dead, can anyone give advice? Or has this ever happened to anyone else? Cheers peace all

They will be fine.

I kept my seeds in a drawer in the lounge for years before I decided to grab a small beer fridge for the seeds and dope.

Never had any germ issues and that cabinet was next to my woodburner too.

I'm with Marcus (under his bed but don't tell him ), they'll be fine. My personal stash is a draw in kitchen, gets warm in there a lot. I keep the forums stock in a fridges as its sponsors/members beans and its right to store as recommended. But mine germ just fine time and time again. Its freezing in the kitchen at night, the missus has heating on full whack in there through the day.

It wasn't just room temp - the fridge was actually giving off heat, there is a hot setting on the back but the switch and the LED diode was on cold so I guess the thing just broke but it was definitely really warm like a radiator on low. I might feel better once I've germed a few old beans Cheers
