Outdoor grow area
Looking for some good recommendations to help my outdoor garden. I usually use blood meal and chicken shit. Is there something different I should use to help out. I use recharge in the middle of summer and about half way through flower. Otherwise I pretty much let my girls be. Thank you for any help.

Re: Outdoor grow area
If youre interested in employing beneficial microbes you might consider learning how to brew your own lactic acid bacteria. Its very simple and all the info is available on youtube. Just look up “KNF lactic acid bacteria” and you can learn the process.
Whats nice about the microbes is they improve soil quality when applied as a drench and, when applied as a foliar spray, they can help protect your leaves from things like mildews and other diseases.
Worm castings are another great source of beneficial microbes and other things that will help maximize soil health.

Re: Outdoor grow area
Just one other thing to note. If this is the first time you have gardened in this spot it wouldnt be a bad idea to submit a soil sample to your local university for basic testing. Where Im from I think a sample costs like $20-$30 USD and they give basic nutrition, pH, and any amendment recommendations based on what you tell them you want to use the land for (i.e. turf, vegetables, flowers, etc.)

Re: Outdoor grow area
@Mafooo thank you I didn’t know I could do that. I will definitely look into that. I’m definitely interested to see how bad it is lol but will give me a great idea on what I need. Thank you again.
