White powder meldew and spider mites
Hey guys started having a couple issues and just wondering what you guys do for for these issues organically so to speak going to spray with soap and garlic for spider mites tn and do that every few days havent started flowering yet but very very soon and have wpm on just one plant going spray with milk and water. Just looking for more options to fight these issues if I should do what I am doing or change to peroxide and alcohol?

Re: White powder meldew and spider mites
I been using a formulated spray called Lost Coast Plant Therapy that is a mixture of isopropyl alcohol, soap, water, and peppermint essential oil. If you cant get a jug of that stuff you might be able to just mix up your own and try that out.
For mildew, the milk and water thing is only a preventative. It will not kill existing mildew but it may help prevent future spores from germinating.
If you want curative action on the mildew you will need to use that product I told you about or something harder. every other daily applications of 70% ethanol to infected leaves has helped control it in the past for me.
For the mites… physically washing every leaf and stem with concentrated soap water needs to be done 1-2x daily for like a week at least if you are going organic. However, you can also do this same process of rubbing the whole plant down with that product or 70% ethanol.
Hope this helps. These are all things I have used in the past.
PS if you are removing the plants from the tent that would be a good time to sanitize the tent as well

If you dont know about this guy already you might consider checking out synchangel (Zenthanol aka Matt Gates) on instagram. He is a cannabis IPM specialist that might have more info on treating things. I seem to remember that a 15 minute stint of 95 F or more can kill mildew. Jack Greenstalk may also have info on this too

Re: White powder meldew and spider mites
Tbh it sounds a real up hill struggle, I'd prolly start over if it was here. Summink to look at for PM is a uvc wand that you just waft around your plants for a few minutes daily around 6inches away. They do sell the wands specific for jobby that cost a quite a pretty sum. https://purensolutions.com/powdery-mild ... iation/but if you look on places like fleabay you can get uvc type steriliser wands similar but alot cheaper whether they would do jobby or not feck knows, but uvc light is uvc and all same spectrum, so i cant see why they wouldn`t help keep mold in place, then again it may depend on the power/wattage of the lighting as to how quickly things start working and clearing up. I know a guy on another site who uses a proper wand to keep PM in place every grow in his crawl space under house where he grows
Spidermites fuck knows tbh I'd nuke them but it looks like your not that typo grower.

If you've got PM and mites and aren't in flower yet, personally... I'd get the lot down, bin it and clean my shit.
Then start again with a spotless space.

I seem to remember neem oil having some effect against powdery mildew as well. Look into that. Would help prevent future mites as well

I'd just roll with it then. Nature finds a way.
Good luck!
