Pest?
Found this today, excuse the sketchy picture but it is through my microscope. I found a few on a leaf step just before lights out. Can anyone tell me what it is? Everything is ticking over nicely at the moment with no sign of anything else. I'm 1 week into flower so long way to go yet!

Re: Pest?
Other than guessing some kinda egg IDK, maybe some less zoomed pics would help identify?

Re: Pest?
Yeah some sort of egg casing was my thought, hoping nothing nasty has crawled out of it... lights are off now so will get some pics when lights on later, they just appear like a few white dots on the leaf stem

Re: Pest?
Reminds me of a moth egg, but normally they are laid in batches on the leafs. As sage said, less magnification would be a help.

Re: Pest?
Hey @Skywalker
There’s this thing you can do called photo stacking, you basically zoom in so the top of the object is in focus and take a shot, then gradually lower the focus just a fraction at a time and take a new photo each time you re focus.
When your done run it through a photo stacker program and you’ll end up with a nice image that’s all in focus
Hope that makes sense

Re: Pest?
I was holding my phone over the eyepiece of my microscope, took about 10 tries to even get that dodgy pic! But will definitely give that a go in the futureVador wrote: ↑Sun Mar 20, 2022 10:20 amHey @Skywalker

Re: Pest?
Was laying under the canopy with a green light today and can't find anything at all, no signs of pests. When lights on later I'll try and find some, there was literally 4 or 5 spread out on the same leaf stalk. That pic was under 120 x magnification
