Oxygen pot ebb and flow system
Hey everyone, got a bad ass deal on this 6 site ebb and flow system
https://youtu.be/EdI-XupAkj0
brand new for 200$ so I couldn't pass it up
With the grow bags in there it gives me the option to run coco without clogging everything up, so the question is.. Should I keep it true ebb and flow and go with hydroton or drain to waste with coco? Your preferance and reason why
And also, how often would I have to flood with hydroton? I can't imagine it holding water for long

FFS hasnt that bloke ever heard of the keep it short and sweet sales tactics. Seems like a way over complicated system and I think you coulda built one simpler and cheaper. Sorry dont think that answers your question mate but i couldnt listen to that guy dribble at a million miles an hour for over 7 mins lol.

Re: Oxygen pot ebb and flow system
The only difference I see between this and a homemade system is the fabric pot inserts. I bought it more for peace of mind against leakages, I trust my building skills and all but having something ready to go is always nice.
What do you think hobbit, what would you go with? Coco, hydroton, rockwool, etc

Re: Oxygen pot ebb and flow system
Hydroton?? is that clay balls as I think this would be your tidiest and best aerated option. You could have inserted a fabric bag to any old pot, but im not sure i get the point.

Re: Oxygen pot ebb and flow system
I wonder how often I'd have to flood it though?

Re: Oxygen pot ebb and flow system
It has a timer with 5 minute increments, you can either flood the buckets and drain back to the res or flood them and drain to waste
