End of flowering light times.
Greetings growers. I want to ask what you do in the last couple of weeks of flowering?
I've seen people adding to the light schedule and also people dropping an hour or two.
So far I've only left mine 12/12 till finish.
I was going to try the 16 hour thing and then got paranoid about Hermies.
So I'm keen to know what you're preferences are?

Re: End of flowering light times.
dark controls flowering - photoperiodism , i'd think you confuse the hell out of your plants switching to 16hr light on. i know people that reduce light to 11 or 10 near end but less light less energy to build bud.
- last two weeks i go straight water in soil or 1/2 dose cal/mag and water in coco to get rid of nut taste. i know some people let them sit in 24hours (some 2 day) dark before cutting but i don't bother because i can't tell difference.

p.s. sorry mate forgot to say i've never tried reducing time thing so wouldn't know for a fact it works or not , but to me your just making plant mature faster so smaller weaker bud.

Re: End of flowering light times.
I've got Mimosa just finishing and humidity at lights out is 70%.
I'm now thinking dropping the light times is just adding more hours of high humidity. So If I add time it could Hermie and if I drop time it's more humidity. I think I'll leave it on 12/12.

Re: End of flowering light times.
Remember they pack a heck of a lot of weight on in those last 2 to 3 weeks. Fuck dropping lighting hours. TBH its summink i tried and can`t say i noticed any difference, raising lights a few inches should have a similar effect though if it works to finish up plants like dropping lighting hours is said too.

Re: End of flowering light times.
You won't get seeds in 10 days if you up your light schedule. I've gone back to 16/8 for last 7 or 10 days but didn't see much difference. Some professional grows in colorado do this. Idea is the plant swells and packs some weight on in last 2 weeks and more light = more energy.
