Trimming Traditions

Post by Josh »

*Please move to appropriate topic section, was having trouble deciding where it should go

Watsup everyone Thought this would be a cool topic to get some banter going. What do you always do the same when you have a long night of trimming?

1. I love to listen to music and podcasts.

2. I order pizza every time of course as a way of celebrating my harvest

3. I noticed I only turn my buds clockwise or to the right kind of a weird observation, but it feels awkward to go the other way

4. I keep my work area somewhat clean because the clutter makes my brain think I'm nowhere near finished

5. This one might surprise you, but I don't smoke on trim days. Being high makes me lazy and laziness doesn't get buds trimmed for me

So what are your traditions growroom?

Pizza is great because I can eat it non stop for 2 or 3 days.

I guess I just try and make sure I have enough content to consume. A mix of podcasts and music to break the monotony. I usually try and trim the little stuff first, so that I get the bitch work behind me. Trimming larger buds is faster and more exciting :)

I hang dry, so I do use a special tray every time that I cut the plant up into pieces and place it on to bring over into my trim area. That tray is my tradition, I slightly spaz if I can't find it right away.
If you like to dry trimmings and u dont wanna trurm forever maybe get a Trimbag? I know there stupid expensive but I honestly think you could make your own with a weed dryer I try to win them on Instagram but no luck yet

I like trimming in silence, no distraction. Just the hum of the extractor fan.

Zen and the art of bud maintenance.

:oik!:

PLus I can get it done a lot quicker and get the funk outta there. :morning:

Never trimmed in silence, I might give it a go today! I do waste quite a bit of time if I'm picky with the music

Not really developed a tradition but a few things seem to be happening for all trims.

Day leading up to the chop i'll take fan leaves off when ever in shed for a smoke, give me something to do

evening of chop, Chop fluffy PJs go on, bottle of vino and glass ( brew if not feeling like a drink)taken out along with 3 pre rolls.

always sit crossed legged just outside the tent and smoke first spliff just looking at plant.

Then its chop off branches and hang and dry trim when dry.

@Nom Naked chopping here would get you hyperthermia!!!
