Soil Growers - Last water before harvest

Hey all

I am on my first soil grow and wanted to know when you guys last water before harvest?

For example, I water every 4 to 5 days. Is it best to harvest on the day the plant usually needs watering? i.e. the medium is pretty dry.

Or would you harvest a few days after watering so there is some water content in the medium?

Do they dry quicker this way, as they possibly would have less water content in the branches/buds?

on the drier side but still turgid. i like the fans to pop clean off when pulled down towards the stem when i pluck. so i tend to go half way between
