Re: Help with re-organizing, re-setting grow room
I saw a pic of a magnetic ballast in my feed . Avoid those at all costs my friend , those things are notorious for getting hot , melting and causing fires .
The old style enclosed in cast aluminum made in US are great , but the cheap Chinese crap may very well burn your house down .
the older Sylvania and Philips types were rock solid , get those if you can get em .
I have a Lumii 600w electronic ballast running for 5-6 years , not a damn problem .
Ipower also are good !!

I check daily and never let it get above 6.4 normally. Had one spike to 6.8 but reset it with white vinegar immediately. And its only this plant and only the top two nodes. Rest is fine

makes me wonder if too hot or wind burn from being next to fan. But 1 thing that's got me curious you asked a couple times if should flush. Have you changed the reserve liquid, how is your ppm or ec? you could get a good ph with a crazy high total dissolved solids number don't think the case here since only one plant at top but you need to know the ranges for that as well as ph.its only this plant and only the top two nodes. Rest is fine

Re: Help with re-organizing, re-setting grow room
I don't think its windburn and my ppm on that one is like 224 of maxigro. Have changed each res at least twice. I finally cut the bad leaves off today and reset all ph levels in tent to 5.4. big mamma is at a bit higher ppm but with new light that has been dropping and she is drinking more as well. THe rest sort of staying where they are.sageridder wrote: ↑Thu Dec 10, 2020 5:41 ammakes me wonder if too hot or wind burn from being next to fan.
