Sounds like fun. I think Keeno did a side by side not sure how it turned out. Def interested to see that outcome

Anything above 720nm. Seen a few guys using them at lights off for 15mins. It's supposed to shorten flowering time.

Re: HPS for flower.
So do you think all that malarkey is really worth it? Does it have huge impact on the quality of buds? I am asking as I've never used anything like this and wonder if it's worth the effort? Usually sticking the correct HPS above a plant and giving it the right feed and love gives me some badass smoke

I was thinking the same thing.Bulls wrote:So do you think all that malarkey is really worth it? Does it have huge impact on the quality of buds? Where do you draw the line?
I do like the science behind it though.
If you start adding all these supplemental lights be no room left for plants.

@Bulls yeah I think if you use hps it has some uv which is probably enough, I’m starting to think that led which as far as I know doesn’t have any uv could really benefit from its addition, could be wrong just something I have been thinking

Re: HPS for flower.
Didnt think you could get red uvb which is blue light i think you could possibly be meaning infa-red ? So does that far red light add any sticky goodness as well ? I think i remember summink said about emmershion/emmerson effect (not sure iff thats right word or spelling) but yes tbh im not sure what that is but i don`t think its owt to do added strength of buddage, possibly summink about growing plants faster bigger, im just not sure tbh.

Re: HPS for flower.
Summink im unsure about in all honesty but ive used it for about 3, 4 or 5 grows in my life and i can`t say if its worked or not, but that applies through board for me whether im growing a strain 30thc or 15thc strength it still mashes me up or whether im growing with hps or led its still smashes me up, or toking organic or synthetic grown bud i just can`t tell difference and i couldn`t say tbh on any of it. But tis said its uvb your wanting for added stickyness iff it works, i just like nice buddage that mashes up my blood clot.Bulls wrote: ↑Tue Nov 10, 2020 8:56 amSo do you think all that malarkey is really worth it?
