600-900 ppfd in flower

Measuring in lux is pointless
My lights have a Bluetooth app that enable you to control output for each unit but I have no idea what numbers to put in at this stage or any for that matter (pic below) don’t want to light burn or bleach and rough distance to canopy is 60cm
Cheers

PPF is overall light output from the fixture.

Ppfd is the amount of light reaching your plants.

They are two different measurements not to be confused with each other.

In all honesty I'm not sure why telos give you PPF reading rather than ppfd. You can't determine the distance your light should be from the canopy with PPF but you can from PPFD

I wouldn’t go passed 850ppfd this round last round was at 1200, I wanta see the difference, but last 2 weeks whatever I set I will drop it to 600 to say to the ladies winter is come plus set lights to 10/14

But then again this round set to a number you like sound off next round try another number and see which you prefer was run a setting better than run b if that makes sense

This app really is very good, I only found out about it by chance yesterday lol

I’ll check for the update now and enter room sizes etc

Scared to death of bleaching them as one is already even though had it manually set before I knew about the app at 50% intensity with a 60cm gap from canopy to unit :(

Same as me then mate and that’s not in a greedy way. My harvest needs to go a long way due to various family members with permanent and serious ailments. Appreciate the input 2-scoops

Yes i get that totally mate. You could possibly look at running a 400 or 600 hps bulb for flowering throughout winter, their should be no need to heat a tent with a heater either when hps lights are running either. Swapped out running with a 600 hps you should get quite a bit more buddage back and save on electricity what with swapping a 400 or 600hps out for your led + heater combo during daylight hours. That may help a wee bit if buds tight along with save ya a little on electricity. Just an option Tom. But those 600hps are a top bit of lighting for weed production. Sort of how i run things here myself during Winter months.

Whaasup guys just downloaded the Telos app for my 10 pro mesh lights and seen I can have full control over setting the ppf

I’m week six of flower and currently they are giving readings of 51,000 on the Lux meter but getting the old bleached head

What would you say to aim for becaus the charts I’m seeing online would be clearly too powerful still

Thanks
I know people think lux meters are a bit useless but it's working perfectly for me. Shane from Migro made a video where he measured the par at all different spots and heights and then worked out how to get it almost spot on with the lux meter. All I do is take the number on my lux meter and multiply it by .017. It's worked great for me. I am using the same lights and lux meter he uses on the video so maybe that helps :dj:

Just seen this after checking my ppfd levels this morning and safe to say mine was far to high or so I’m lead to believe ppfd was at 1456 and DLI was at 94 with a hanging hight of 22inchs 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️One light turned off the other raised to 30 plus inches lol no help at all I know his thought I’d see if anyone could tell me I’m wrong and those reading are ok 😂
