Making plans with a stoner is like being with a prostitute. They tell you they’re coming, but you know it’s a lie.

Actually I just checked and I am lying, mine is only a 4 inch in the 2x4, not a six inch as I first thought.Tictok wrote: ↑Fri Aug 19, 2022 5:49 pmI've got a six inch AC, my mate has an eight inch.
Am I jealous?
Seriously though, I think it depends on your groom, in the 2x4 at full whack I get a lot of negative pressure, (saved my bacon in this heat). 8inch would be too much in that tent.
It's been running constantly for about 3 years now. Never missed a beat, very quiet and when the 2 x 4 is a veg tent putting the controller on auto sets the RH and temps lovely.
In flower I just run it at full so the filter is used all the time.
So I guess 6 inches works fine for me.
I feel slightly inadequate now. Works a treat in the tent though.

The 8 inch is a beast, I feel it's too powerful even for the 4x8 so I have it on the lowest setting, kinda wish I had gone with the 6" but they were out of stock at the time. Can't comment on the 6 tho as I haven't tried it

Re: AC Infinity fan owners, do you prefer 6 inches or 8?
So is the temp and humidity controller worth it?
I normally just set my fan to run at a certain speed.
Seeing as I vent and draw from the same room there's no point me setting it to expel more air if the temps go up as it'll just suck that warm air back in...
so I'm thinking of grabbing an 8 inch with the basic speed controller as next year I;m building a new space in the garage (pronounced garage not garage) so will need my 8 incher for more thrust.
But thank you all for your input, very helpful to know how big your thingumajigs are.

I have a 6” works like a charm I’ve not tried the 8 inch. Not loud at all either.
