Ive been doing this for a while now, turning temps down well below what most would class as acceptable for the final 10-14 days if i can. I strongly believe it preserves terps as ive done the same strains from clone and noticed a big difference when lowering temps towards the end of flower.Stickylemonz wrote: ↑Mon Jun 28, 2021 11:58 amOk thank you all! Two scoops I may try that this time and try and save any terps I can, should I turn temp down from 25 end of flower?

they will go amber as the plant gets nearer to the end, so just wait it out and chop when you are happy is what i would do.Stickylemonz wrote: ↑Mon Jun 28, 2021 3:40 pmI want amber trics as more benificial to me so could i might leave lights on till I see amber trics then try dark for day or so ?

Re: End of budding 24-48hr darkness benefits
I have always done a dark period before harvest but didn't get chance to try it without on my last grow so maybe on the next one, but I have also heard that really cold water/feed for the last 2 weeks shocks the plant helping produce more trichs

I normally do the dark period but this time I’m playing with dli and vpd so going try to recreate autumn in my tent in last few weeks of this run, instead of dark period.
