good shout chad maybe he`s got a hairdresser in there !!!!! get the mag glass out go looking for Cheryl malloneyChad.Westport wrote: ↑Sat Jan 23, 2021 8:43 pmUsually when pistils go brown way early, I suspect a little pollen might be floating around. However, you say it is only one plant in a room of many. In those instances, I look at light distance, too close and you can do a little burn on the leaves and the pistils sometimes don't react well to it. Another thing would be if you did any sort of foliar spray and the lights were still on.
When you are seeing these cloudy trichomes, are they on the leaf or are they on the actual buds?

Re: Weird one
Hey dude
I use Biobizz Grow and Bloom. Most of my soil was light mix mixed with a little allmix that I had left over.
Im on week 10 flower
Im growing Shining Silver Haze and White Widow both RQS
My Haze went exactly like yours, around week 5 or 6 flower and the yellowing started pretty much exactly in the same way as yours. I couldn't work out whether it was a Nitrogen deficiency or not.
So one feed I upped the grow from 3ml to 4ml and kept bloom at 4ml too. It seemed to get a bit better and new growth was atleast green near bud side. At the same time was a bit lazy and used the same feeds for white widow which was showing a cal deficiency and didn't cause any nute burn or harm.
Going by this grow, I think the biobizz feeding chart is a bit below than what the plants actually need in flowering. There are others who have had similar problems.
Now I don't know whether its hard water related or what not.
At the moment my white widows windows pistils are 90% brown and the white ones are slowly disappearing. Triches are mainly all cloudy...no signs of amber apart from a few sugar leaves. started flushing her a week earler than I should have but shes doing fine and will be chopped next week.
Now on the other hand, the haze is slow all pistils are white and buds not fattened. She does usually take about 11 weeks though. But I feel she has been stressed and underfed due to the nutrient schedule and possibly due to a few times shes been underwatered.
Not sure whether any of that will help. My first time using biobizz nutes in anger and I think ive had a decent grow even with stupid screw ups by myself.

Re: Weird one
P.S I didn't use calmag in the end in mine as I think I had other issues such as the root zone being cold due to my passive intake in the direction of the pot sucking in this beautifully fresh and ice cold winter air..thus not allowing nutrients to be used up by the plant

Re: Weird one
Fair enough dude. Its just me looking for other factors that may be involved, as for me it has always been silly little things like that or a combination :) Hope you get it sorted bro. I appreciate the frustration

Main thing for me is dialling into my environment which changes every fookin season as Im growin in a shed outdoors. However, I have found it easier with the ecotechnics fan controller. Still, that freezing cold british air does more harm than good
