The public comment period is open until July 22, 2024. If you're in the USA and want to free the plant, let your voice be heard. Since these comments are public I would present my thought. Happy to hear your take on this subject.
My submission to the Feds:
I believe that cannabis has been the subject of a puritanical witch hunt by our government for years. In my opinion it doesn't belong on any schedule of drugs. The citizens of the USA have been penalized and ostracized by this draconian policy. Too many good people have been hurt through the propaganda spread by Anslinger, NIxon & Reagan. It's time to quit hiding behind decades old falsehoods, admit your mistakes and let it go. It's a flower, an herb and natural medicine for scores of people.
