Re: Intersex traits on a Cannabis Plant
I found this thread after searching for more info on intrasex traits. I have been averaging one plant in five that shows male flowers. These are all feminized seeds. I think 20% is too high. I'm doing all I can think of to not cause stress to induce this. Not sure what else can be done to prevent it or if that's possible.

Re: Intersex traits on a Cannabis Plant
I truly dislike herms, I am talking plants that have lots of balls on a female plant. Some of the first seeds I bought where full herms. I have seen a herm totally destroy a friend's crop. I have seen males herm. I have also seen a few balls at the beginning of flower and a few at the end of flower.
I have seen nutrients cause a plant throw balls on a strain that I never had a problem with before. Also there is stress from lights and well as made fems with CS.
I have also gotten to a point that if I see a plant late or early showing balls I am not as worried as I once was. I also never had a herm under natural light and organic soil.
I also feel that a breed female is less likely to throw any balls.
