you want to test root zone ph go to youtube and search slurry test soil. Easy to do and get a real idea of the ph where it counts.

I would stop using the Air Stone as this will rise the ph of the standing water, a good stir or shake before use is sufficient. Personally, i have no need to ph in compost trouble is here i believe is the wild swing of your water ph to the ph of you feed. Test the ph of your water straight from the tap if its over 7.6 then ph down your watering only. Also are the pots nice and warm or the root zone, too cold can inhibit the uptake of manganese.
