im looking to give coco a shot properly this time round, been looking at biobizz coco mix but as i havent really done anything properly with coco in the past (last time was a tragic fail). i really want to do it the right this time.
so can anyone tell me: do i need to add anything else to the coco mix or would that biobizz be enough + monkey nutrients (grow A + B) and then (Bloom A + B)
thanks in advance

Re: Coco and monkey nutrients questions
I've not used either monkey nutrients or biobizz coco. I use canna coco and canna coco nutrients and both are bomb proof for me. You don't need to add anything to the coco. Some will add perlite or similar but there really isn't any need imo.

Re: Coco and monkey nutrients questions
thanks mate, iv grown all sorts of plants but none with the same ehm .... shall we say critical output lol, will have a look at those links, gets confusing real quick when doing a general search on nutriets/soils etc as alot of people dont mention what there setup is so end up trying to mimic and end up with a nutrient coloured mess xDKeeno wrote: ↑Sun Mar 13, 2022 5:49 pmviewtopic.php?f=6&t=13928&sid=82201e908 ... 04fc8ae1ef

Re: Coco and monkey nutrients questions
I've not used it but a quick look i can`t see why it wouldn't be ok used on its own. Personally i like to add around 30% perlite if i have any around the place.CDX101 wrote: ↑Sun Mar 13, 2022 5:28 pmim looking to give coco a shot properly this time round, been looking at biobizz coco mix but as i havent really done anything properly with coco in the past (last time was a tragic fail). i really want to do it the right this time.
