By the way, one more thing I wanted to ask, if I'm aiming for EC 1, should it be 1 including water ec or nutes alone? My tap water EC is 0.45, i can also buy Mountain water with ec of 0.27. Which would you recommend? I also have brita filter to bring the ec down a bit.

Forget the mountain water as it can contain high levels of sodium. When I talk EC I always include the background EC but in your case you should be aiming for 1.2EC total. 0.4 isn't that hard. If anything, it's perfect for Coco.

I switched to RO water to see if it will help with current problems and growth in general, also saves me hassle keeping tap water in container for 24h for chemical evaporation, here in uk water has a lot of chlorine...

Are you sure about dropping calmag? Coco has no nutes and from what I researched, calmag is crucial in coco.

I will try out your advice and see what happens :)
Surprisingly enough it can be quite beneficial keeping your rootzone free from pathogens and help in keeping rootzone sterile. Maybe it`s a bit different if growing organically, but yes dont worry too much about letting tap water stand it will hardly effect or kill plants grown hydroponically or in coco with mineral base ferts, no sweat mate. :)
