outside plant,ohio,been dry lately,looks powdery,nowhere else on plant.....bird poop?

You prolly won`t get rid of it now. Running a uvc light across plants real close once a day will help prevent it and kill spores but its not best thing in world to be doing unless your dressed like a spaceman. You can actually buy kit for it, it looks like a small hps euro reflector with a handle on and uvc bulb in it.

Look at bombing your room when crops done with a sulphur candle before wiping down.
