Re: Old Beans, not fridge stored, germ advice?
No ive only ever done one seed this way it`s all pretty new to me, but like fuck could i crack some old seeds the wet paper towel way, so i did a bit of digging around and went with h202, i soaked the seed for 10 to 12 hours before rinsing it and adding it to a damp paper towel, as said it was fully out of shell after 4 or 5 days. Don`t use cold water either for h202 or paper towel or rinsing seeds off, room temp mate. You could look at using some carbs too. After h202 soak you could prolly do the rinse for another 30 to 60 mins in a cup of sugar water, dextrose or white table sugar that dissolved, 1 teaspoon per liter, i read carbs can play a big part in helping seeds crack if you can get them to pentrate shell after a h202 bath :)
