Hello!
Hi lovely people!
Been sent in your direction by Richard from InvisibleSun as THE PLACE to get great info and support from very nice folk!
Never grown before, apart from some amazing Habeneros and other chiiles (unfortunately no greenhouse at the moment, but they will be bcak next year!
Just started my first one - Gorilla COokies Auto, in a customised 1.2 x1.2 loft tent (had to shoren the height a bit) and a 240W InvisibleSun FBar.
Girls popped out of the coco on Thursday morning, and due to a slight confusion I had my FBar too high up and on too low power and they got all leggy. They have now been re-pottedand the light sorted, thanks to some of the best customer service i have had in ages from Richard! Now if I can just keep the temps and humidity right (this weekend has been challenging) we should be up and running!
Is it odd that me and 'er indoors have named them?
Cheers and happy growing!

Re: Hello!
Welcome to GR420. I'm a big fan of the bar systems fe9m Invisible Sun. Dome my best grow under them recently.
Loft growing can be interesting, especially with our weather. How are the humidity and temperature at the moment?
Not where at all naming them . This hobby will have you doing things you never expected.
I can't wait to see your set up.

Re: Hello!
Hey Folks!
Thanks for the lovely welcome! I shall post some pics and maybe start a grow diary.
Yes up in the loft is challenging just now witht he heat. However I have managed to keep the temps about OK, got a bit hot a couple of days, just over 31 for short periods. Humidity has been a bit of a challenge, tring to keep it high enough for the wee seedlings, but have it fairly good now. Hanging a couple of wet flannels during the day has kept them happy enough, with a bit of extra manual misting.
I have a Switchbot Temp and Humidity sensor so I can monitor that witht he app, and I have the extraction on a wifi plug, so during the day, keep an eye on it manually, and flick the extraction on for a minute or 2 here and there. Over night the extraction comes in for a couple of minutes an hour and that seems. to be working just now.
I have just managed to put an old desk fan blowing clod air into the loft frem an old side hatch, so that should help keep the temp down. Not so hot today and a bit cloudy.
The girls seemed to have handled the deeper re-potting of their lanky legs and are doing great and no longer stretching!
The loft should be fine in the wither, the boiler is up there and the central heating pipes keep it noce an cosy.... well fingers crossed!
Happy Growing!
