Re: Beginner grower
Welcome to GR420. Make yourself at home.
I'm prefer Photoperiod plants, especially for people early on with growing. Autos are great, do what they say within reason but are a time bomb once started. You have a set amount of time to train them and repair any issues as that plant will finish in a set amount of time.
With photos you can train much better and should you mess up in veg can delay flower.

Re: Beginner grower
I'm an old fart and the autoflowering strains of the last have left a lasting mark so I much prefer photoperiod. I think if I was going to flower outdoors within the UK I may be convinced to go autos.

Re: Beginner grower
Hello mate. I prefer regular photo periods myself. I think because you have more control over them, you tend to get what you put into them. I do understand the idea why alot of people like autos tho, they are alot simpler, kind of grow themselves .
