theres a lot of variables to consider - money available, temperatures, etc etc.
The quieter you become, the more you are able to hear.

I am eagerly waiting for a led light to replace a 600w hps but not seen one yet. That being said there is some great led lights out there and the frost you can get from a purple light can often amaze you.
