To me running coco with organic imputs just seems like a great idea, there is something about synthetics method that I struggle with the idea of despite how efficient it may be.

Re: New Member
There are hundreds of ways to skin a cat. I think it's the best thing about these forums. Everyone has their own style and we can all learn from each other. Makes me feel I'm not on my own with what I'm doing.
I was having a little banter on chat last night, I work with numbers a lot in my normal life, why do I need to do that with feeds etc..... lol get a feel for what the plants tell us. This way theoretically the plant and roots has an association with the microbes and fungi I add to the soil. The plant takes what it needs. If it looks deficient in any way I have other ways of fixing things quickly rather than relying on slow release feeds.
Plus I re use my coco then for my food plants or for house plants.

Thanks I'm only on my 3rd official grow. I have done so may hours of research though. Read so many articles and books. It all still doesn't set you up for the real thing though. Just glad I'm finally up and doing things finally. Self sustainability is the way forward.Poizon.Ivy.420 wrote: ↑Sun May 03, 2020 2:23 amWelcome! It sounds like you really know how to grow.
