Such a great talk! Back to basics but also some real gems for the experienced growers too. Well worth a watch.

I've not listened to all this video yet. But last time I germinated I used riot cubes after soaking for 24 hours. My Blue Dream had a 2 inch tap root in 2 days.grumpygrower wrote: ↑Wed Jul 01, 2020 12:48 pmWell I tried his method and they cracked in 10 hours! Kevin Jodrey is the man :)

Re: Cannabis Seed Germination - Kevin Jodrey
So all this time I've been burning out my plants with too strong coco.
So, if planting straight into soil in the future, I'm going to have the middle part inert coco/seedling soil. Then surrounding it there will be my normal organic mix of goodies. So, when the seedling goes into veg stage and gets hungry, the sorrounding soil will have available nutes.
Maybe I am going to try 1 plant, inert coco, nothing at all, no buffer, so when it gets hungry I can just learn to read the plant
My banana blaze plant was so quick in the riot cube, but slowed down as soon as it touched my coco blend. So maybe I just socked it with too much nutes?
