Re: WHO FISHES ?
i fish,
i was up west coast of Scotland last week, caught a sea trout, lost a salmon.
went further south, my lad caught a pike,
i used to poach loads of rainbows out of a RAF stocked loch. /We went up one weekend stole, well more - borrowed thier only rowing boat one weekend and spent a very entertaining few hours trawling up and down thier loch pulling thier fish out, as about half a dozen of them shouted at us from the bank to come in at once, or there will be dire consequences.
pigs arrived eventually and shrugged thier shoulders, they werent keen on swimming out to us, ha ha fukn pricks.
I never was any good at following orders.
we got away too, bonus.......

Re: WHO FISHES ?
I’ve done some saltwater fishing, mostly in the Gulf of Mexico for snook, redfish, trout, tarpon, kingfish, grouper, and snapper. I’ve done catch and release 99.9% of the time if it wasn’t commercial fishing.

Re: WHO FISHES ?
Love my fishing. Mainly beach casting and the odd boat trip.
Bass is normally target species but I'm happy catching anything.
Fish mainly NW England coast and the odd trip to Lincolnshire and Welsh Wales.
Tight lines

Re: WHO FISHES ?
I think the last time I fished was before that date. Used to fish by hand mainly. I'd get bored quickly when I fished with a rod.Captain Beefheart wrote: ↑Tue Aug 11, 2020 9:50 pmthe last time i fished was in 1984 the minors strike,i made a killing selling fresh salmon + trout down the pub, i never used a rod and real then just a GAFF + minors lamp we`d go on the rise and fall of the tide, smoke loads even av a bbq on the trout tho we used rods with maggots on the hooks . shocking ennit for a quick kill i`d tap them on the head on the end of my para boot soul. i did go course fishing as a kid.

Re: WHO FISHES ?
Always dipped in and out of various fishing all the way through my life. Carp fishing is my biggest enjoyment. All the lakes are so full these days though it's hard to find somewhere nice, quiet and secluded.
