One of the best books i have ever read gotta be Musashi: https://www.amazon.com/Musashi-Epic-Nov ... 156836427X
About a Japanese Samurai that goes through life in a different matter than the normal Samurai. It is a brick of a book with 984 pages but it is a book that is hard to put down.
Absolutely recommend this one.

If you like your Carp fishing then Terry Hearns In persuit of the latgest.

He has a 2nd book out now too. Through the mist I think its called. Met him at a carp fishing festival once with the Korda team. He's a good crack and a good read.

Bravo Two Zero. First book I ever read. Never forgotten it. Never read another book since.
My first books would have been Janet and John. I am surprised that Bravo Two Zero is the first book for anyone to read.

I struggle to remember what I read a few minutes ago with books, so I gave them up.

I like comics though and have a decent collection of Peanuts/Snoopy books from the 60s and 70s.

Encyclopaedias are cool to flick through too.

I also liked the women's underwear section of the Littlewoods catalogue back in the 80s.
