screens
hello people
I was thinking of trying to make dry sift and I wondered if anyone has used screens that they would recommend?
If I'm going to buy screens I'd prefer to have 'buy once' quality rather than go super cheap and have to replace them.
I have thought about trying to make some but I don't think I'd do a very good job...
Be nice

Re: screens
Ive not personally used screens as such but have used bubble bags, the method is different. Ive seen guys use dry ice with bubble bags with great results.Kief Haze wrote: ↑Mon Dec 16, 2019 10:37 am

Re: screens
I used to use 180-220micron silk screen. You can buy it on a roll or a pre made canvas. You could probably go down to 160 if you like it's personal preference. 220 over a 180 used to give me a nice return and press up very nice.

Re: screens
You can buy mesh at whatever micron you like cheap enough on ebay then you just need a 2 by 1 frame knocking up and just staple the mesh to that.

Re: screens
Cheers for the responses folks.
After shopping around a bit I've decided pre made screens are a bit pricey for some mesh on a frame.
I guess that's another project for the list...
