My trip to the UK Cannabis doctor

Hi all,

Yesterday was my first meeting with a cannabis doctor. I used Integro Clinics, a UK clinic with a great reputation,I had my first 40 mins with my doctor. He had full access to my NHS records and knew all about me before we started, he covered every aspect of my health. Because I have a pre existing condition that was diagnosed by another doctor this was a very strait forward process.

I was proscribed flower and oil(eatable). The flower I have been proscribed is non-irradiated flower from Macedonia via the Grow Pharma group.

I will receive my proscription from the pharmacy within 5 working days. It will arrive with a secure courier. Strawberry Glue and French Cookies. I receive a copy of my proscription and packaging for my flower that shows its medical.

In a month I legally have to have a follow up with my doctor and then my proscription becomes a repeat and can be collected any time.

It was a pretty awesome experience and has left me feeling incredibly liberated.

Great news mate! I also a uk medical user and it is very straightforward just shame it’s not free on NHS(yet…)

Oh awesome, do you know of my clinic and pharmacy? I think I did well. Really looking forward to trying the products!

It’s not inexpensive but it’s now down to a level that it was worth me getting the legitimacy. I may cost me a hundred a year in non pharmacy costs, so Doctors appointments, nurse/repeat proscriptions appointments. That is with some reductions.

Nice one. So is it proper full spectrum weed or CBD heavy typo stuff ? Also how much is each script ? I know its all questions coming at ya man but cheers.

Totally cool, I asked a lot of questions. It’s proper flower, I will show pics when it comes but you can YouTube search GROW Phama to see some reviews. 18:1-22:1 THC/CBD are my two scripts for this round. 5.5 - 10/g but about 7 a gram is the real answer. For me within reason I can get how ever much I require. I know less about the oil as it was expensive but it’s about the same ratio THC/CBD.

The plan potentially is to try some stuff, get some tubs and my script certificate and then use the pharmacy if needed.

There seems to be more and more clinics mate I’ve herd of two this last week, I’m with saphire clinics as was cheapest to set up however proberly cheaper ones now as been a patient over a year now. Yes mate it’s good to have it! As I grow I buy the least amount possible as I like my own weed a lot more but it’s great peace of mind for many aspects having the prescription imo!

@2-Scoops The initial consultation is a bit pricy (£150 I think) then it’s an appointment every 3 months so 4 a year and is £50 each appointment so roughly £200 a year for the meetings then whatever bud/oil you want you pay for it. To get 10g of bud of my prescription is £55 then 10g of cbd is £60. Like I said I buy the cheapest and least amount possible because I grow my own and don’t like buying weed but it’s worth having for different reasons
