Howdy growmies.
38 days above ground. They were stunted for a little while because of a ph issue but I think that's in check now.
Both recovered well from the topping. Wanted to give them a mist with some epsom salts but it would appear that the wife stole what I had left for her bath. Instead, they have had a foliar drench with some synergest from greenhandorganics. The bottle is about a year old so heaven knows if its any good still.


Decided to start the training with pipe cleaners rather than get the scrog in right away because I'm waiting for a few more roots to fire out the bottom of the pots. I'll get the scrog in when i turn the system on. They are starting to actually smell like weed now. Hope the filter lasts this run.

Day 48
Scrog is in and pipe cleaners have gone. Growing well

Slow growing plants Herby, i recon you coulda got 2 crops out by time this scrog is done. Peeps seem to think they get more back scrogging but looking over a longer a period of time, it works out about same i seem to think its prolly better just banging grow after grow out nd topping plants just once or twice is more rewarding over 12 months than doing a few scrogs in that time. Ying and yang int it.

I agree. Could 100% get an extra crop in a year that way, maybe even 2, but with my limited space, I like for everything to look as neat as possible. I think the slow growth is because of being under fed at first followed by the ph issue. Luckily I'm back to photoperiod plants so I know I have time to fix things. I'd rather put the work into a scrog rather than worring about headroom so much.

I only ever top once. One day I'll have more headroom and I'll be more comfortable just letting them grow out. The yuzu sour was a horrible experience, trying to juggle light distribution over the multiple plant heights.

Im happy sacrificing an extra crop for a better looking grow space for now. When I run out of weed I just do an involuntary tolerance break. Lol. I have been hunting for a few gurrilla spots for the last few months as its quite probable that I'll need to stop growing at home in the next year or two.

Nearly got every square filled. Once it's nice and packed I'll flip them and let them stretch.
Node spacing Is quite tight so has taken a while for the two of them to fill the scrog.
They bloody stink!

Had a bit of a potassium deficiency issue but I think I'm on top of that now. (Fingers crossed)
