Invisible Sun.. Impressed
So upgraded my tent to the invisible Sun, I am impressed; It is so bright
It has a controller on it, how bright should I have it?
I have 3 Autoflowers in kitchen roll at the moment. Get them germinating.
Gonna put them in coco coir, perlite and nutrient mix
My first grow was a disaster.
Any tips for autoflower I welcome

They are bright aren't they
I use invis lights and I starts with power at about 30% and slowly increase as plantbgets bigger and can take more light.
Which light to you have? I have the ish150br and a 4r both of which never go up to full power
Good luck they are brillant lights

Re: Invisible Sun.. Impressed
I use mine on lowest and only 1 light in a 1.2 to begin, then 2 on lowest up to flip. flip and full whack.
The plants will tell you what they need with stretch/lack of and leaf colour. Be careful, its easy to fry them to begin with... watch for the leaves yellowing and if they are, turn it down a bit.
If your used to HPS etc youl also notice ( at least in my case ) you need calmag every feed more or less, and a lot higher EC than hps.
Good luck, its like learning to grow all over again and can be tricky BUT youl save a fortune in leccy and imo have better quality buds.

The quieter you become, the more you are able to hear.

I run my leccy through a digital meter so I know what everything is drawing, I’ve got a 4r and start off with it at 80w when increase it as they get bigger, I don’t take it about 250w, good luck they are great lights

Use a lux meter. It takes the guess work out.
The most accurate way of doing it is with a PAR meter but they cost mega bucks. A lux meter is a cheap way of checking your light intensity.
You can use an app or buy a meter for about £25.
The numbers to aim for are:
Seedlings 5000 to 7000 lux
Veg 15000 to 50000 lux
Flower 45 to 65000 lux.
The max is 75000 anymore than that is too much for most plants.

Re: Invisible Sun.. Impressed
Well I've been running 2 x 265's on full power since the off flat out both are, I'm getting a rampant growth rate and the plants simply love it ewe need sunglasses though, i will soon be adding another 240 Watts of invisible sun lights they also will be running full power also I've got a few bags of clones and a few bonsai mums under a 75 watt panel full power, i see absolutely no point in running lights on a lower setting unless ewe suffer with heat issue's I myself ain't got that problem also they about 14 inches above canopy, dimming lights befooked. Wow just wow
