Hydro vs Soil - Any difference in actual product?

I've heard from growers of actual (not devils) lettuce and such that hydro grown fruit and veg can be lacking in flavour, do you see anything like that in growing cannabis? Is it all tyre kicking bollox?

It all depends on what you're doing. I've found that just using the bare minimum in hydro you sometimes get massive pretty buds with no character but by adding vitamins, amino acids, hormones and B1 you can get some very tasty weed. The bro science side of me thinks it's all about trying to out back in what the plants are getting from the microlife.

I love the growth of hydro, but I'll attest that my best smelling/tasting bud has come from no-till. Clone for clone comparison

No-till looks really interesting, but my tent is in my house and I'm not ready to invite a bunch of creepy crawlies indoors yet.

Did an organic grow once, thought it tasted funny tbh. Maybe I prefer my weed like my food, full of chemicals, salt and suger. Oh and E numbers, i just looooove me some E numbers. E14 ROCKS
