Re: best budget led
Buy cheap, buy twice.
You may as well purchase a decent one like Invisible Sun.

Re: best budget led
The reality of covering a 8 x 4 foot space with led is expense. For that area you want something like 2 of the ISH530 from @Invisible Sun. They do a LITE version of it which is very good value for money. 8 x 4 foot is a big area and needs covering properly. You could mix snd match HPS snd LED for now. Cheap LED is crap 99% of the time.slimsantana wrote: ↑Fri Sep 18, 2020 10:45 amhi folks after havin many issues whith the heat this year im looking at switching over to all led's currently i

Re: best budget led
For flowering you would need roughly 250w led light for each 2x2ft space. That's what it draws from the socket not what the manufacturer says.
That's what I was told when researching which lights to get.
I'm running a 4x4 tent with two 240w quantum boards.
I use one for veg and two for flower.
If you can wire a plug have a look at QB kits and save a bit of money that way.

Re: best budget led
If you intend to keep growing LEDs win hands down.
The boards last over 5 year's and with the energy savings they will pay for themselves.
Another thing you want to avoid is the lights with fans onboard if heat is an issue. There pretty noisy as well.
Why not get one light and a small tent and see for yourself?
Good luck with it

Re: best budget led
I’d have to say invisible sun all day, I’ve got a 4r and it’s a quality bit of kit and not dear for what you get. Can’t see how anyone can beat them on quality and price, cheap lights seem like good value but as said above over the long run quality pays for itself
