Not really sure where to put this or if I'm allowed but I'm just angry and sick of scumbag parents (you all know the type) , my 12 year old son was down the park playing football with his friends 5 mins from our house, He gets beaten up and a knife held to his throat by another 12 year, luckily he is ok, well half his face is swollen and looks battered but hes home and safe now, I just dont understand how you can raise your children to be savages,

Blimey, that’s terrible bud glad he is home safe and didn’t come to more harm. As point5 said I don’t know what I’d do if I had kids and that happened to one of them, I think it’s probably a lack of parenting, but then I think some kids are just wronguns for whatever reason, just bad eggs, I never wanted to bring kids into this world I have enough problems navigating it myself.

Yup Id be finding that kids parents real quick and have a word. Then Id call child services and i would have a stern talking to with that kid without getting physical. Thats where I woukd start

I wish it was that simple this kid has already got a list as long as my arm including stabbing 2 other kids 6 months ago yet nothing seems to happen, its almost like it's going to be one of them cases where nothing is done till some poor kid is killed and as for the parents they are just scum and encourage that sort of behaviour, it pisses me off that I actually contribute to feed and house scum like that

I usually resolve these kinda issues with extreme violence...
go round his house, pull his dad out of the house (if he has one) and kick his c*nt in, tell him that if your kid gets any more, greif, you will be taking it out on him.
Failing that baseball bat and balaclava, I don't care if hes a kid, if he took a knife to my son, he will be classed as a man, cos clearly that's what he thinks he is.....the police wont do anything, and the little shit knows it, but a good hiding- that's gonna make him think twice......trust me....

not politically correct for these modern times, but 100% success rate.....

Not a nice situation at all really mate, and it wouldnt really matter if your boy could handle himself or not because of the weapon. I'm just sorry to hear that its happened. When I was his age I'd been on both sides of that kind of situation I'm sorry to say, my ol man was one of those old school hard ass's though so I thought I was untouchable. When the chaps dad came around to sort it out the result was me and the other lad being dragged down the local field to go toe to toe. We've been best mates for over 30 years both have degrees, good jobs and nice families. So it could turn positive in the long run. We both still smoke weed though

Keep an eye on him mate, I'm sure you will. But that is one traumatic experience for a little one to go through and you might spot some side affects (potential ptsd).

Knives are worse than guns in this country and there's no shame in telling your kids like I do mine that if someone pulls a knife, just run, if you can.

Heres a thought. Equip your kiddo with a small tazer or pepper spray. Teach him how to respect and handle the self defense tools. Get him a kung fu stick too like mine.
