I love crappy white supermarket sliced bread for a bacon sarnie. Brown sauce... HP of course. :oik!:

Sourdough bread for sardines on toast... again, a bit of brown bomber... HP of course. :oik!:

I used to love making my own breads, but only make flatbreads now for curries. No need for sauce on them. :oik!:

Get yourself to Morissons, their Brittany salted butter is cracking. £1.85 a pack. The Captain will love it.

Sainsury's do sliced sourdough loaves, real nice ones. Lighter than the stodgy "proper" sourdough ones from Waitrose and stuff.

I like kneading a bit of dough now and again. (not an euphemism BTW) Quite theraputic.

Gonna go have some bread and butter for supper now. :oik!:

You work for the bread council or something?
Yip tried Morrison’s he moans at that one to , don’t tell anyone but he loves a moan so what I usually do is look for the biggest salt crystal , dig it out , plonk it in the middle of his bread and sit back and wait for the ffs what butter is this again but ssshhh lol
Unfortunately nope I don’t work for bread lol but I’d give my job up to b a bread taster
enjoy your supper don’t forget the bread pic

I love bread!
I'm usually making my own sourdough bread. This weekend I made a heavy rye only, pumpernickel style bread (only chopped rye, malted rye and sourdough starter). But my most common bread is a mostly white loaf with some wholemeal and some rye in it - only flour, water, salt goes into the process and when it comes out of the oven on Sunday morning it's hard not to eat the entire loaf!
