WTF
I've been soaking 2 seeds from Dutch Passion, and I just looked at them through a loupe. There's bloody white spider like things crawling over one of the seeds!!!

Re: WTF
Brooooo! I had this happen to me not long ago, in a paper towel. But it looked like spider webs so I assumed it got too warm and then moldy. Maybe spider mites?
Either way, I'd shitcan them!

Re: WTF
The paper towel hasn't been long out of the packaging. Good to know others have had similar. I've never known of it before.integrajosh wrote: ↑Fri Nov 15, 2019 12:58 amBrooooo! Re: WTF
Straight from the container into water, and straight onto the Sky box.
Then, straight from the cup onto towel and into a bag. All done in my bedroom - which only grows weed in. (No other plants in here.)

Re: WTF
I had put them back in to soak, but now have then in two separate paper towels and in separate sandwich bags. I think them being dunked in water again has washed them off as I cannot see any of those things from the angles I looked at.
Fingers crossed, they're gone. I will check later today to see if any have appeared.

Re: WTF
I will, mate, thank you.
I've never seen of it or heard of it before.
The only thing I can think of (if it's possible) is that there were eggs on the seeds when they left the factory, and the water rejuvenated them.
The seed arrived today and only soaked for about 6 hours or so, and then a few hours in the bag. They've been quick to crack.
This experience will make me double check germinating seeds forever.

We can get swept away by our thoughts,,or learn to step back and see them with clarity.
Easy to forget its a choice
