I was watching that video



When something crossed my mind.. and it probably of many hours. Is the way we live the right and only one way of doing it?
I mean for most families life is about buying a house, paying the bills and having the odd holiday here and there IF you can afford, because all your income goes into mortgage or rent, bills etc. Why are we investing our life time to buy a place with walls to be able to hide between and watch Telly or Youtube of how beautiful the world is out there?

Some will say - well it's for the kids, they have to go to school. Why ..you can't provide the same books they use at school at teach them to read them? Plenty of home school programs can help with that so not an excuse :)
Some will say - well you can work hard, get rich and afford travelling the world whilst providing for a good home. I guess that's true but not that easy to achieve these days :)

So how many of you would have the balls to ditch the normal life and get out there travelling the world?

pmfsl, we had this argument bulls - my house costs less than renting so hopefully we will be able to travel more ( tho not abroad as a family due to health )
I personally would rather spend half the price of rent on a mortgage, and the other half doing the house up ( when we can afford ) than renting and not being able to afford anything ;)

My dream one day is a cruise tho, and my wifes is NYC at xmas to see some tree thing.

Well I been to one of those places yea I’d throw it all in and travel the world tomoz without batting an eyelid , throw couple things in my rucky and away lol material things have lost their appeal the older I get
