Smells outside the grow room.

Hi everyone.

Have any of you used an ioniser to neutralise the air outside your grow rooms ,
The wife thinks we have a little bit of leakage which I can't smell but she obviously has a super power which includes having the ability to smell like a bloodhound.
But to keep her happy I'm looking at buying one.

Hello buddy. Women have the ability to smell stuff from miles away, recognise 205869237 shades of every colour but ..yet can't park a car.
I am not sure I've heard anyone using an ioniser and how is that going to help but you know them ONA Gels? They are pretty decent mate and if you grab one or two and put them around the house should be all fine.
But just to take things further, where is the smell leak coming from? Is your filter old? Or you don't have enough negative pressure in the tent?

I used to use ozone generators but tbh viper carbon filters have eliminated any need for anything else as long as the fans running ( in the right direction... Not like my last grow

Yeah got loads of negative pressure I personally think she's paranoid ,
Even the actual grow room doesn't smell to much itself .
I've used the ona gels before, I'll pick some up as well to keep her calm.

Ozone generaters will stink proof your room on their own, nothing else is needed, or so i read in a thread, it`s all the guy was using.

UVC also kills smells it`s used lots in places like hospitasls in things like air-con and much more. It`s quite feasable to stick a uvc bulb or two in your outlet for added stinkproof measures, if that`s where you think stink is coming from. :)

When I grow in the greenhouse, I use fresh horse poop to mask the smell. Changed weekly.

If you used your undies, you'd only need to change monthly :)

Yes bulls, commonly used in water as well. Koi carp etc.

In my opinion, ionizers are cool but you won't get one big enough to neautralize unwanted smells from a room. UVC is good but you don't want it in your room :) it kills everything including your lungs if you breath the stuff. It smells metalic if you're using an inline generator in the duct. IMHO, ozone generators are only worth the investment if you're growing large quantities and have at least an 8 inch fan. I've seen the stand alone ones with a computer fan blowing it into the room and IMO they're dangerous. Smells will leak if it's proper stinky cannabis. Your best bet is probably ONA gel or something. That stuff is potent as. I hate the smell of it but I hate the smell of bacon worse ;)
